Daniel Baruch grew up near Glasgow and studied at British universities for a B.A. and then for a Master's degree. After graduation he taught at the University of Rostock and later settled in the Rhine-Main area as an English-language trainer.

As he was frequently asked for the best language schools in Britain and for the most appropriate courses, he realised the need for first-hand information. In 1994, he started a consultancy service for clients interested in language training. He prides himself on helping his clients to plan their language trips, no matter whether they are schoolchildren or business people.
